Our Story

Welcome!

North Country Needlepoint was inspired by our beloved aunt from New York City, who introduced me to the art of needlepoint during a visit with us in Alaska. What started as a lesson quickly became a passion—I had truly found my niche, one stitch at a time.

As I dove deeper, I discovered that while Alaska has a vibrant community of quilters and cross-stitchers, needlepoint has yet to find its footing. My growing love for creating original designs and thoughtfully searching for quality canvases inspired me to take a leap and create North Country Needlepoint.

As I continue to grow my own design collection, I’m delighted to offer a selection of hand-painted canvases from various talented artists. My hope is that, as the business expands beyond the screen and into the community, the needlepoint world here in Alaska will flourish as well.
